Dear Friend,

You are invited to join me at an event this weekend to meet constituents, like you, who won Inauguration tickets through my random lottery.  This is also an opportunity to meet fellow residents who will be traveling to Washington, DC for the Inauguration of President Barack Obama.  Refreshments will be served.  Local media will be on hand to talk to lottery winners and hear your stories about what this Inauguration means to you.
